For second and third crops, the virus tolerant DeeZire
has proven itself in theUKduring 2017 according toMs
Kooijman. ¸Despite grower’s concerns about thepale
plant colour, theproduction andquality are very good,
and theplant canhandleperiods of low light verywell and
can thereforeproduce until later in the season than some
other varieties.Withhigh resistance topowderymildew
and intermediate resistance toCGMMV, it performs very
well where either of these are a concern. In fact, growers
whodo not have virus problems also choose the variety
because of its other qualities,¹ she tells TheCommercial
GreenhouseGrower. Therewill alsobe a new variety
fromEnaaZaden to look out for during 2018, also ideal
for second and third cropproduction. Sumapol which
