Soil healthwith biostimulants
As the use of plant biostimulants becomemore
commonplace in horticulture the use of Humic and
Fulvic acids arepredicted to increaseby 12%per year.
However, according to JackHoldenof Solufeed the
differencebetween the two is frequentlymisunderstood.
Both are natural products derived from themicrobial
decompositionof ancient vegative or animal organic
matter. Also, bothhave the ability to rejuvenate tired and
depletedgrowingmediawhether soil or peat/coir based.
Fulvic acid ismore soluble andmoremobile thanHumic
acid and is better at increasing the availability of soil
nutrients and essential minerals. Fulvic 25 is a natural

microbes that are essential to a healthy soil and is
approvedby TheSoil Association as suitable for organic
growing. Fulvic 25 enhances root development, improves
plant health and imparts greater resistance todisease or
pest attack. Theproduct has beenprovenon all soft fruits,
salads andornamentals and is a liquid formulation that
canbe applied as the growingmedia is beingprepared
and repeated at least twiceduring the growing season.
